Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves. But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin."

I also think it's what society starts to teach us. Have you ever noticed that what the celebrities do is what the majority of society does? Also, the lord says in 1 John 5:17 "All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death."

Maybe someone else has more input?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04920425612111009725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4878999152902417778.post-33013433327869392332012-06-19T21:52:13.290-04:002012-06-19T21:52:13.290-04:00WOW... I was JUST thinking on this very topic the ...WOW... I was JUST thinking on this very topic the other day. Not regarding eating, per se... but I'm currently reading the Old Testament. God gave Israel plenty of RULES. Some of them we follow to this day, and some we do not. My question is simply this: How is it that we (Christians) take some rules and decided to follow them, and others we simply ignore? I know that "the letter of the law killeth", therefor we are not supposed to try and be good because we'll fall terribly short, but we lean on Christ as our support, and through Him we are righteous, not through ourselves.

However, I still don't know why we follow some rules and others we have just let slip by with the passing of time?Aloquinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04779364705080703961noreply@blogger.com
